Bridge-Dominant Texts

These are the surprisingly rare texts that have sections or are entirely devoted to the purpose of this website — finding ways to bridge the growing chasm between the secular and the sacred. It is encouraging that so many works are appearing that address this growing chasm between the natural and supernatural explicitly; but beware that all such efforts are not neutral. Ideally these books take a position that recognizes valid aspects of both the secular and the sacred and seek to find a resolution of those differences. We have eliminated from this list those books that completely favor one side because there is a much longer list of those that would close the chasm by having one side dominate to the exclusion of the other. The ones listed below have the spirit of BOTH/AND rather than EITHER/OR. Again there is no implied order or priority in the listing. [136Sm’14]
